A law firm seeks a highly qualified and motivated Tax Associate to join its practice group in Los Angeles, CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background and experience in a law firm or similar environment.

Duties

• Conduct research and assessment of complex federal tax issues.
• Assist with entity formation, deal structuring, and mergers and acquisitions.
• Collaborate with team members to support the national practice.

Requirements

• 2+ years of tax experience in a major accounting firm or law firm.
• Ability to navigate complex subject matter quickly and effectively.
• JD and active bar admission in the jurisdiction of practice.

Education

• LL.M. in Taxation preferred.

Certifications

• Active bar admission required.
