Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Attorney specializing in Medical Malpractice for its Northglenn, CO office. The role involves leading complex cases from initial evaluation through resolution or trial, ensuring successful advocacy and outcomes while maintaining compliance and leveraging case management systems.

Duties

  • Manage litigation cases from filing to resolution, including client engagement and documentation.
  • Analyze and prepare cases by reviewing evidence and developing trial strategies.
  • Communicate with clients and stakeholders to gather information and provide updates.
  • Review and organize medical records to strengthen case arguments.
  • Draft, review, and file legal documents, including motions and trial briefs.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor degree with active admission to the Colorado Bar.
  • 3+ years of experience in medical malpractice or related healthcare-focused practice areas.
  • Strong understanding of medical malpractice law and relevant Colorado statutes.
  • Demonstrated ability in drafting motions, managing discovery, and conducting depositions.
  • Skilled in representing clients at various legal proceedings.
  • Exceptional analytical skills for evaluating medical records and building litigation strategies.
  • Proficient in legal research and fact analysis.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation and advocacy abilities.
  • High-level interpersonal skills for professional relationship building.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and legal case management systems.
