Insurance Defense Attorney

A law firm is seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Attorney to join their team in Wichita, KS. The ideal candidate will have 2-7 years of experience in insurance defense litigation. They will manage a caseload, represent clients in court, and provide legal advice on insurance matters. Duties:

• Represent clients in insurance defense litigation, including pre-trial, trial, and appellate proceedings.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and briefs.

• Provide legal advice and guidance on insurance claims, coverage issues, and liability.
• Negotiate settlements and participate in mediation or arbitration.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, insurers, and legal professionals.
• Ensure compliance with legal standards and regulations.

• Attend court hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings as required.

Requirements:

• 2-7 years of experience in insurance defense litigation.
• Admission to the Kansas State Bar.
