Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Estate Planning Attorney licensed in California to join a thriving boutique practice in San Francisco, CA. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience in estate planning and entity formation, with additional skills in trust administration and probate being advantageous.

Duties

  • Manage estate planning and business matters.
  • Draft comprehensive estate plans using Wealth Counsel, including CRTs.
  • Analyze, advise on, and revise a wide array of estate planning documents.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop and achieve their estate planning goals.
  • Lead and work collaboratively with team members.

Requirements

  • Licensed to practice law in California.
  • Five or more years of relevant experience in estate planning.
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work in a small-team environment.
  • Experience in managing legal assistants and paralegals.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • California State Bar License.

Skills

  • Experience with entity formation, trust administration, and/or probate.
  • Proficiency in Clio Manage, Wealth Counsel, and Microsoft 365.
  • Adept at using Mac computers and systems.
  • Remote work experience.
  • Excellent command of English, including spelling, grammar, punctuation, form, and style.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
