Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Corporate Partner with a book of business to join its office in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in corporate, M&A, and/or real estate matters, along with a portable client base. This role requires proven business development skills and a commitment to contributing to the growth of the practice.

Duties

  • Manage and develop client relationships effectively.
  • Lead and execute corporate transactional matters.
  • Contribute to the strategic growth of the practice.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years of corporate transactional experience.
  • Experience with a large law firm or sophisticated corporate boutique.
  • Proven business development skills.
  • Book of business required (at least $500K preferred).
  • Licensed to practice in Texas, Florida, or California.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • Bar admission in Texas, Florida, or California.

Skills

  • Excellent client management and communication skills.
  • Strong leadership abilities.
