Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Commercial Real Estate Leasing Attorney in Potomac, MD. The ideal candidate will possess over six years of experience in commercial office and retail leasing, representing both landlords and tenants. Additional experience in transactional commercial real estate is preferred but not mandatory.

Duties

  • Negotiate and draft commercial office and retail leases and related documents.
  • Negotiate and draft transactional commercial real estate documents.
  • Review and summarize due diligence materials.
  • Conduct closings and complete post-closing documents and administration.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6+ years of experience as an attorney with commercial and transactional real estate expertise.
  • MD Bar license required; DC and/or VA preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • Active MD Bar license.
