Public Finance Associate

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Public Finance Associate with 3-4 years of experience to join their Los Angeles, California office. The firm handles a wide range of financing matters for diverse clients, including governmental entities and investment banks, across the U.S. and its territories.

Duties

• Assist in municipal bond and other public finance transactions.
• Engage in IRS audits and SEC investigations.
• Participate in public-private partnerships and securitizations.
• Support bankruptcy and work-out processes.

Requirements

• Three to four years of relevant law firm experience.
• Membership in the Bar of a U.S. State.
• Superior client service skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.

Certifications

• Bar membership in a U.S. State.

Skills

• Strong transactional background.
• Experience in public finance transactions, UCC, and securities law is a plus.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Outstanding interpersonal and organizational skills.
