Job Overview

Duties

  • Appear before the State Court of California for guardianships and custody cases.
  • Represent clients in Immigration Court (EOIR) and before USCIS.
  • Meet with clients to provide legal advice and prepare them for hearings.
  • Review work completed by legal assistants.
  • Prepare legal documents, including motions, briefs, and memos.

Requirements

  • Valid CA State Bar License.
  • Ability to commute to Los Angeles, CA 90014.
  • Spanish speaking preferred but not required.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • CA State Bar License.

Skills

  • Strong writing skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
