Associate Attorney - General Liability

Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney with 0-5+ years of litigation experience to join its General Liability practice in Utah. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of civil litigation and a commitment to providing exceptional client service. A background in insurance defense is preferred.

Duties

• Engage in civil litigation and insurance defense matters.
• Conduct discovery, disclosures, and depositions.
• Draft and argue motions in court.
• Participate in court appearances and trials.
• Deliver excellent client service and maintain strong client relationships.

Requirements

• 0-5+ years of experience in civil litigation and/or insurance defense.
• Experience with discovery, depositions, and court proceedings.
• Strong oral advocacy and written communication skills.

Education

• JD degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active member in good standing with the State Bar of Utah.
