Senior Attorney needed for Denver office

Job Overview: A law firm is seeking an experienced Senior Attorney to join the Tax practice area in the Denver, CO office. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned legal professional focusing on tax law, possessing a deep understanding of relevant regulations and a track record of successful client representation.

Duties:

• Provide expert legal advice and representation in tax matters, including tax planning, compliance, and dispute resolution.
• Conduct legal research to stay abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their specific tax-related needs and develop tailored legal strategies.
• Draft legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and tax-related pleadings.
• Represent clients in negotiations, hearings, and other legal proceedings.
• Manage a caseload and ensure timely completion of tasks and assignments.
• Supervise and mentor junior attorneys and legal support staff within the Tax practice area.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active and in good standing membership with the state bar.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience practicing law, focusing on tax law.
• Proven track record of successful tax-related case outcomes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
