Duties

  • Engage in pretrial and trial hearings.
  • Prepare and edit real estate documents such as deeds and agreements.
  • Conduct settlement negotiations and mediations.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of litigation experience in real estate.
  • Motivated self-starter with strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent writing, research, and communication abilities.
  • Ability to maintain effective client and professional relationships.
  • Strong ethics and work ethic, with a preference for candidates connected to South Hampton Roads.

Education

  • Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school with an outstanding academic record.

Certifications

  • Admission to the Virginia Bar and in good standing.
