Funds Associate

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Funds Associate for their Dallas, TX office. The ideal candidate will have a general corporate and securities background with specific experience advising investment funds throughout their lifecycle. Experience with private equity, private credit, and venture capital funds is preferred.

Duties

• Advise investment funds and investors at all stages.
• Collaborate with attorneys in the Financial Services & Capital Markets unit.
• Manage multiple projects effectively under pressure.
• Articulate legal strategies and courses of action.

Requirements

• Three to five years of relevant experience preferred.
• Active bar license in Texas or commitment to obtain one.
• Excellent academic credentials and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to community involvement.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Active bar license in the relevant state.
