Associate - Litigation and Merger Control in Antitrust and Competition

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a skilled associate with a minimum of two years of experience in antitrust litigation and/or merger control to join its expanding practice in Los Angeles, CA. The ideal candidate will possess substantive knowledge of antitrust law and strong writing skills, joining the 3rd to 7th year associate class.

Duties

• Assist in navigating antitrust regimes and securing merger approvals.
• Support in resolving challenges from litigants and enforcement bodies.
• Participate in defending against high-stakes enforcement and litigation actions.
• Contribute to securing merger clearances and handling Second Requests.
• Engage in defending clients facing government investigations.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of experience in antitrust litigation and/or merger control.
• Substantive knowledge of antitrust law.
• Strong writing and analytical skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the bar in the state of California.
