Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Personal Injury Attorney to join their team in Saint Paul, MN. This role offers an opportunity to manage a full caseload of complex injury cases within a supportive and collaborative environment.

Duties

  • Manage all aspects of personal injury cases from intake through resolution.
  • Advocate zealously on behalf of clients.
  • Handle written discovery, depositions, motion practice, and other pre-trial matters.
  • Develop case strategies and represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
  • Draft pleadings, briefs, appeals, and other litigation documents with precision.
  • Represent clients in various court settings.
  • Negotiate settlements and pursue favorable outcomes for clients.
  • Conduct legal research and analyze cases to develop effective litigation strategies.
  • Interpret laws and advise clients regarding their legal rights and options.
  • Handle potential client intake calls and maintain proactive communication with clients.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and legal staff to ensure efficient case management.
  • Attend team meetings, strategy sessions, and conference calls.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an American Bar Association accredited law school.
  • Licensed or able to become licensed to practice law in the State of Minnesota.
  • Strong background in personal injury litigation with demonstrated trial experience preferred.
  • Ability to manage a full caseload independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to develop creative solutions to complex legal issues.
  • Willingness to travel for court appearances within a multi-state region.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in Minnesota or eligibility to obtain licensure.
