Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney with one to five years of experience in complex commercial real estate transactions in Jacksonville, FL. The role involves handling transactions from initial structuring through closing, with significant responsibility and direct interaction with partners and clients.

Duties

• Negotiate and draft real estate purchase contracts, leases, and loan documents.
• Conduct due diligence, including title and survey review.
• Prepare organizational and governing documents.
• Review and issue title commitments and insurance policies.
• Negotiate terms for commercial real estate transactions.
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements.
• Facilitate transaction closings.
• Research real estate laws and industry trends.
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and real estate professionals.

Requirements

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Member of the Florida Bar in good standing.
• At least 1 year of experience in commercial real estate law.
• Strong knowledge of real estate transactions and property law.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

Education

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
