Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney in Los Angeles, CA. This hybrid position in Woodland Hills offers a dynamic opportunity for a litigator with over three years of experience to engage in high-stakes litigation. The role involves working closely with seasoned trial lawyers on complex cases, providing a platform for professional growth and strategic involvement.

Duties

  • Support all phases of complex litigation, from investigation to trial preparation.
  • Draft motions, pleadings, discovery responses, and legal memoranda.
  • Assist in preparing for and taking depositions of fact witnesses and experts.
  • Participate in case-strategy discussions and trial preparation with senior attorneys.
  • Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and litigation support staff.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, preferably in civil litigation.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.

  • Desire to grow within a sophisticated, trial-focused practice.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
