Family Law Litigation Associate Attorney

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Family Law Litigation Associate Attorney in Murietta, CA. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated family law cases, including high-asset divorces and contested custody disputes, alongside experienced attorneys and specialists.

Duties

• Draft pleadings, motions, declarations, and other litigation documents.
• Appear in court and argue hearings.
• Conduct legal research and assist in developing litigation strategy.
• Participate in depositions, mediations, settlement conferences, and trial preparation.
• Work directly with clients from intake through all phases of litigation.
• Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on complex family law matters.
• Manage increasing levels of responsibility as experience and skills develop.

Requirements

• Litigation experience preferred; exceptional candidates with less experience considered.
• Licensed and in good standing with the California Bar.
• Strong legal writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Desire to become a highly skilled courtroom advocate.
• Strong work ethic, professionalism, and commitment to client service.

• Family law experience preferred but not required for exceptional candidates.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
