Job Overview:
A reputable law firm is seeking a talented Associate Attorney with 1–6 years of experience to join its Business and Real Estate Transactions practice. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience handling transactional matters, including commercial real estate, business entity formation, contract drafting, and deal negotiation. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney to grow within a collaborative legal team and work with a diverse range of clients and transactions.

Location:

  • Pleasanton, CA

Duties:

  • Draft, negotiate, and review commercial contracts and transactional documents

  • Assist with real estate purchase and sale agreements, leasing, and financing transactions

  • Support clients in business formation, governance, and restructuring matters

  • Conduct due diligence in both business and real estate transactions

  • Coordinate and facilitate closings and post-closing matters

  • Collaborate with clients, attorneys, and third parties to execute transactional strategies

  • Maintain strong communication with clients and internal team members throughout the transaction process

Requirements:

  • 1–6 years of legal experience focused on business and/or real estate transactions

  • Demonstrated experience handling closings and drafting transactional documentation

  • Ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting

  • Client-service orientation and a proactive approach to legal problem solving

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in the state where the attorney will be based, or eligibility to waive in

Skills:

  • Strong legal drafting, negotiation, and communication skills

  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage transactional complexity

  • Proficiency in legal research tools and document management systems
