Job Overview

A law firm seeks a General Liability Partner and Unit Lead in the Greater Dallas area. This role involves leading a high-volume team, driving case strategy, and expanding the firm's presence in the region. The ideal candidate is a skilled litigator ready to take on a leadership role and contribute to the firm's growth.

Duties

  • Manage a caseload of General Liability defense matters from inception through trial.
  • Serve as a key leader within the Dallas GL team, setting priorities and allocating resources.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop associate attorneys and support staff.
  • Deliver consistent, high-quality client service and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Contribute to business development efforts and client retention strategies.
  • Collaborate across the firm's national GL platform to deliver results for clients.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
  • Active State Bar of Texas license in good standing.
  • Minimum of 6 years of General Liability defense litigation experience.
  • First-chair trial, arbitration, or mediation experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage a full caseload independently.
  • Strong written and oral advocacy skills and sound legal judgment.

Education

  • Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active State Bar of Texas license in good standing.
