Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Workers' Compensation Attorney to join its practice in the Boston, Massachusetts area. The attorney will manage a substantial and complex caseload, handling cases and hearings with expertise and dedication.

Duties

  • Manage day-to-day handling of cases and hearings.
  • Draft and file litigation documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, and motions.
  • Guide clients through the case process.
  • Interact with expert witnesses, including drafting reports and affidavits.
  • Prepare for and attend depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances.

Requirements

  • Law degree from a fully accredited law school.
  • Active member in good standing with the MA State Bar Association.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of workers' compensation experience.
  • Ability to manage a high volume of cases and hearings.
  • Excellent client service and communication skills.
  • Self-starter driven by long-term career goals.
  • Superior writing and oral advocacy skills.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active membership with the Massachusetts State Bar Association.
