A law firm seeks a Senior Counsel to join its Real Estate group in Milwaukee. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in commercial real estate transactions and will be responsible for drafting and negotiating documents related to various real estate transactions.

Duties

  • Draft and negotiate documents for commercial real estate transactions.
  • Manage due diligence and closing processes for real estate deals.
  • Handle transactions independently and work directly with clients.
  • Oversee associate and paralegal support as needed.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in commercial real estate transactions.
  • Ability to manage transactions from start to finish.
  • Experience in development transactions, purchases, sales, and leases.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in the state of Wisconsin.

Skills

  • Strong negotiation and drafting skills.
  • Excellent client management abilities.
  • Proficient in managing and overseeing legal support staff.
