Transportation Litigation Senior Attorney

A law firm seeks a proactive and highly skilled Transportation Litigation Senior Attorney in Dallas, Texas. The ideal candidate will manage litigation matters within the transportation sector, providing sound counsel to clients and working on challenging cases with talented colleagues nationwide.

Duties

• Manage a litigation caseload from inception to resolution.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on transportation laws and regulations.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations.
• Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients.
• Collaborate with colleagues across departments and offices.
• Draft case analysis reports for client stakeholders.

Requirements

• Admitted to practice in the state of Texas.
• 8 years of general casualty litigation experience.
• First and/or second chair experience strongly desired.
• Trial experience required.
• Transportation and logistics regulatory experience preferred.
• Experience with e-commerce/gig economy legal issues preferred.
• Deposition and motion practice experience required.

Education

• JD from an ABA accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice law in Texas.
