Job Overview

A law firm seeks an associate attorney specializing in insurance coverage litigation for their Phoenix office. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience, strong writing skills, and a proactive approach to legal challenges.

Duties

• Draft pleadings and briefs.
• Prepare and respond to written discovery.
• Prepare correspondence to colleagues and clients.
• Analyze insurance policies and draft coverage opinions.
• Conduct legal research using Westlaw/Lexis/Nexis.
• Review documents in preparation for litigation.
• Attend and conduct depositions, hearings, and mediations.
• Submit filings to the court.

Requirements

• Admitted to practice in Arizona; additional admissions are a plus.
• Experience in discovery and law and motion.
• State and federal court experience.
• Excellent academic credentials and work history.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Bar admission in Arizona.
