A law firm seeks an Innovation Attorney for its Litigation and Intellectual Property business units, based in Austin, TX, with consideration for 100% remote locations within the US. The role supports the firm's innovation efforts to enhance legal service delivery through people, process, and technology.

Duties

  • Lead projects to optimize client service delivery and increase efficiencies.
  • Coordinate and implement technology integration, including generative AI.
  • Serve as a resource for practice resource questions and issues.
  • Support large litigation docket teams with workflow design and management.
  • Develop client-facing solutions and improve practice content delivery.
  • Educate legal professionals on technology and practice content initiatives.

Requirements

  • Minimum of four years of experience as a litigation or IP attorney in a large law firm.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with legal technology and AI opportunities.
  • Strong analytical, project management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Availability to travel as necessary.

Education

  • Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an accredited university or college.

Certifications

  • Admission to practice in good standing in a US jurisdiction.
