My first real-world opportunity was a legal internship at a high volume real estate law firm during the latter years of the infamous real estate boom. I then realized that I had found my niche in the legal profession. I began my professional career as an in-house attorney for the largest real estate title insurance company in the world. I worked in a vast legal department, but a few years of perseverance resulted in a promotion to manage an outstanding team of five attorneys. My team primarily focused on lender based litigation and settlement negotiations for the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States. After gaining invaluable experience and professional maturation, I still had a burning desire to work in the local business community. I decided to enter private practice and take an associate position in Ponte Vedra. I served a number of roles at this professional enterprise including managing the title company, handling most of the marketing and developing a book of real estate based legal business.
