Joshua was born and raised in Dublin, Georgia. After completing his education and working for several years in Los Angeles, he decided to return home to Dublin to practice law with his family. His mother, Emily Kight, now practices real estate and probate law (The Kight Law Firm, P.C.), while his father, Billy Kight, serves as county attorney for Laurens County. In addition to his legal work, Joshua currently serves as executive director of the Downtown Dublin Development Authority. Over the last five years, downtown Dublin has re-emerged as a vibrant cultural and economic area for the Dublin-Laurens community. Joshua enjoys working to continue the progress.
