Actually, very few divorce cases end up in a trial. In New Jersey less than one half of one percent of the divorce cases filed are resolved by a trial. If your case is one of the few Mr. Chehanske is an experienced trial attorney and will zealously represent you in that proceeding. However, there are alternatives to court which may work well for you including mediation or collaboration law. Ending a relationship is an extremely upsetting event. Research has shown that divorce and/or separation is the third most stressful life event a person can experience, topped only by the death of a loved one or incarceration.
