Ms. Cook is considered an expert in family immigration, waivers, deportation (removal) defense, consular processing, asylum and naturalization law. She has extensive experience litigating immigration cases in the Federal Courts. She has defended scores of people in Immigration Court and helped hundreds of people obtain U.S. residency through family members. She represented the named petitioner in Castro-Cortez v. INS, 239 F. 3d 1097 (9th Cir 2001), an important case involving due process and reinstatement of removal.
