John Watson graduated from the University of Georgia School of Law in 1973 and has practiced law since his admission to the Georgia Bar in 1973. He is admitted to all Georgia trial and appellate courts, as well as the federal courts in Georgia and the United States Supreme Court. In the early years of his practice, he worked for the District Attorneys Association of Georgia, then a federally funded task force, and once taught at the North Georgia Police Academy.
