Muna Abu-Shaar is an intellectual property attorney with over fifteen years of experience in patent counseling for biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry clients ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies.

Muna has a molecular biology technical background with experience in biologics (including antibodies and enzymes), pharmaceutical formulations, vaccines, diagnostics, recombinant technologies, and manufacturing processes.

Muna received a J.D. from Fordham Law School (cum laude, order of the coif and law review), a Ph.D. (with distinction) in Cellular, Molecular & Biophysical Studies from Columbia University, and a B.A. in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge. She was recognized as a Super Lawyers "Rising Star" in New York in 2011 and 2013. Prior to founding Biospark Intellectual Property Law, Muna was a partner in the intellectual property group of a large international law firm.

Adam C. Krol is an intellectual property attorney with a medicinal chemistry and biological engineering technical background. Adam has experience in patent counseling for biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and chemical industry clients in the areas of biologics, small molecules, pharmaceutical and chemical formulations, and manufacturing processes.

Adam received a J.D. from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Buffalo (magna cum laude), a M.E. in Chemical Engineering from SUNY at Buffalo, and a B.S. in Medicinal Chemistry from SUNY at Buffalo (summa cum laude). Prior to joining Biospark Intellectual Property Law, Adam was an associate at a New York City intellectual property law firm.

Adam is admitted in New York and New Jersey.
