Hickey Hauck Bishoff & Jeffers was founded in 2016 by four lawyers who have collectively spent over 100 years practicing law at one of Michigan's oldest and largest law firms. We have spent our careers counseling and representing clients in the resolution of business disputes, commercial contracts and employment matters. We have been particularly focused on trade secret and non-compete obligations, privately-owned business disputes, breach of fiduciary duty claims, and all forms of commercial disputes in the automotive, healthcare, investment management, and insurance sectors. In addition to our breadth of experience in litigating and taking such cases to trial, we are equally adept at counseling our clients so that they can avoid costly litigation where possible. We have spent decades practicing law in the big firm environment and now, we look forward to transferring that experience into a new kind of business-centric law firm focused on serving businesses and their owners in the state of Michigan. Our office is located in downtown Detroit amidst the bustling re-development along Woodward Avenue and within blocks of the state and federal courts. Yet we have appeared before and tried cases in courts across the entire state and country.
