The Barrie Law Center is a general practice firm born out of Attorney Barrie's need to independently serve the community. In 1997, attorney Barrie started her work in residential programing for children with special needs, including children with emotional disabilities, autism, learning disabilities, ADHD, etc. As a result of her work with the children and the need she saw for advocacy for their rights, she decided to attend law school with the sole purpose of representing children. During law school, Ms. Barrie externed for a family court judge, and served as a Guardian ad Litem representing the best interests of children in the foster care system.
