Eva Clement grew up in North Carolina. She graduated from NC School of Science and Math and then earned her B.A. with honors from Guilford College. As a Social Insurance Specialist with the Social Security Administration in Asheville, NC. Eva served thousands clients and conducted trainings at hospitals, state agencies, and other public service institutions across Western North Carolina. During her tenure, the Department of Health and Human Services awarded Eva three Recognition of Contribution commendations. She also participated in Durham's Elder Law Pro Bono Clinic and did domestic violence litigation through Durham Legal Aid.
