The origin of the firm dates back to July 1, 1984, when a group of partners formed Armbrust & Brown. From 1990 to 1997, the firm served as the Austin office of a large Dallas-based law firm. In May of 1997, the firm reconstituted itself as it exists today and has enjoyed a steady and measured growth since its inception. Over the years, Armbrust & Brown has strategically added practitioners with expertise in many legal specialties, from litigation to municipal law to complex tax planning, allowing Armbrust & Brown to offer our clientele all of the advantages of a full service law firm. While we have stayed true to our Texas roots and clients, our clientele has grown with the region to include national and multi-national businesses participating in the growth that makes Austin one of the most dynamic regions in the country.
