Gianni, Origoni, Grippo, Cappelli & Partners was founded in 1988 with the ambition of becoming an international firm. Establishing offices simultaneously in Rome, Milan and New York, they set out to provide legal services on both an extraordinary and ordinary basis to both Italian and foreign companies. The firm quickly established itself as a reference point in the field of legal services and has since expanded to encompass eleven offices in Rome, Milan, Bologna, Padua, Turin, Abu Dhabi, Brussels, Hong Kong*, London, New York* and Shanghai**. To serve their clients more effectively, the firm opened the Cindia Desk in 2007, a special interdepartmental team dedicated to customers with interests in the Chinese and Indian markets. This marked a new step in their internationalization process, and they further strengthened their ties with major international firms. In 2010, the firm opened an office in Abu Dhabi, making it the first Italian law firm to do so. In 2014, the firm opened an office in Hong Kong*, and subsequently created additional multidisciplinary teams dedicated to specific geographical areas: the China Desk in 2011, the Korea Desk in 2012, the Turkey Desk in 2013, the Russia Desk in 2016, the Africa Desk and the Luxembourg Desk in 2018. The firm expanded further in 2018 with the opening of a branch in mainland China in Shanghai**. Today, Gianni, Origoni, Grippo, Cappelli & Partners has eleven offices and a staff of over 470 professionals, making it one of the leading providers of legal services in the international community.
