Kristin Adamson has practiced exclusively in marital and family law, at both the trial and appellate levels for over 32 years. She became a Board Certified Marital and Family Law Lawyer in 1996. Ms. Adamson is AV rated by Martindale Hubble; has been repeatedly selected for inclusion in Best Lawyers in America (2008 ? present) and was recognized by Best Lawyers as "Lawyer of the Year" in 2012 in Family Law - Tallahassee.

She is a Fellow of the Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and is Past-President of the Florida Chapter. She is also a Fellow of the International Academy of Family Lawyers. Kristin is listed as a Florida Super Lawyer, and a Florida Leading Attorney in Family Law.

Kristin Adamson has been extensively involved in the Family Law Section of the Florida Bar serving on many committees as well as the Executive Council. She has served on the Tallahassee Bar Association Board of Directors for the Legal Aid Foundation; the Florida Second Judicial Circuit Grievance Committee; the Florida Legislature's Study Committee on Public Records; the Florida Supreme Court Committee on Public Records; the Florida Supreme Court Committee on Privacy and Court Records; the Florida Supreme Court Committee on Access to Public Records; the Florida Supreme Court Family Law Forms Committee; the Florida Courts' Steering Committee: Families and Children in the Court; Tallahassee Telephone Counseling & Referral Service Board of Directors; the Tallahassee City Commission Task Force Study Group on Domestic Violence and as a Mentor and Lecturer for Thunderdome Tallahassee.



Kristin is an Emeritus of William H. Stafford Inn of Court, Tallahassee Chapter, American Inns of Court; and an Emeritus of the First District Court of Appeal, Inn of Court. She is the recipient of the Community Service Award from North Florida Legal Services; Outstanding Service Award from the Family Law Section of the Florida Bar; The Special Service Award from the Family Law Section of the Florida Bar; and The Chair's Award of Merit from the Family Law Section of the Florida Bar. She has lectured extensively on all areas of Family law for The Florida Bar Family Law Section; The Florida Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and Legal Services of North Florida.



Kristin is an admitted member the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Florida and the U.S. Supreme Court.
