Law Office of Ron L. Rimelspach

Ron began his law career in 1973 as a Referee in the Lucas County, Ohio Family Court and engaged in private practice focusing on Family Law. Since then, Ron has gained 39 years of experience working on cases involving divorce and custody related matters both in the Domestic Relations and Juvenile Courts in the Northwest Ohio area.

While working with families, Ron saw the necessity and benefit of the process of mediation. He began implementing the mediation process to try and help families resolve their disagreements over 25 years ago. He was an active member and past Chair of the Ohio Commission on Dispute Resolution and Conflict Management during its existence and chaired the Ohio State Bar Association's Dispute Resolution Committee. This work has enabled Ron to help expand the scope of the mediation process throughout the State of Ohio.

Ron currently serves as a Board Member on the Mercy College of Ohio Foundation and has served on the Board of Editors for Ohio Lawyer Magazine, the Ohio State Bar Association's statewide publication with a 30,000 address circulation. Ron is an avid reader of the non-fiction books, particularly those that help him manage time and improve the legal system for Family Law in Ohio. He also enjoys staying current with world events by religiously reading the Economist magazine and multiple newspapers.
