1800s

The business was passed from generation to generation for well over a century before it was inherited by the Montague family through marriage in the early 1800s to become Latchams Montague. Then, through another marriage in the 1920s, the firm became Latchams Montague & Niblett, operating out of a Georgian building in Stokes Croft.
1992

Andrew Gregg (who retired as our senior partner in 2014) left Osborne Clarke after almost 20 years as a partner to establish his own practice, Andrew Gregg & Co, operating out of the firm's current offices on Queen Square. His firm later merged with another just a few doors along to become Gregg Galbraith Quinn, eventually being renamed Gregg Latchams Quinn.
2006

Gregg Latchams Quinn merged with one of the region's leading private client firms, Wadge Rapps & Hunt, to become Gregg Latchams WRH; providing a complete service to both businesses and individuals.
2009

With the advent of new and more flexible business structures, the firm became a limited liability partnership in 2009 before converting to a limited company in 2014.
2010

Gregg Latchams Chinese arm, now Rui Cheng (formally Red Dragons), was established to assist Chinese clients wishing to invest in UK Europe.
2014

Firm becomes a limited company and Richard Hill takes up the mantle of Managing Director.
2015

Much anticipated London office opens. Recognising that many of our clients conduct their business in London, we opened an office on Manchester Square, and as a result have expanded our network in the capital.
2015

GL Business Consultancy is launched. The company is set up to provide consultancy services to companies of all shapes and sizes and offer advice and support for all stages of the business journey.
2016

The GL umbrella expands to introduce GL Integrity Financial Planning, created to provide financial services to our new and existing clients.
