Lawyer Michael P. Berkley started out by representing contractors who were renovating restaurants and other small commercial buildings in 1990. Since then our practice and industry knowledge have grown. Our current client base includes developers, contractors, subcontractors, property owners, suppliers and design professionals involved in large-scale construction projects, including hotels, condominiums and large commercial office buildings.
We know that solid, well-crafted contracts and competent legal counsel combined with our experience and practical knowledge are the keys to achieving successful outcomes. We are able to orchestrate solutions in a variety of situations including:
Drafting and reviewing contracts
Negotiating resolutions to disputes outside of court
Litigating construction disputes when necessary, including breaches of contract, delays and damage to neighboring properties during foundation work
