Gerald was born in Kansas City. He was raised by his mother who was a career employee with the U.S. Postal Service along with his two older sisters. Prior to law school, Gerald held numerous positions from law enforcement, telecommunications, construction and sales. When Gerald is not working as an advocate for his clients, he is busy spending time with his high school sweetheart, their two beautiful daughters and handsome son who he believes takes after him. Gerald is an avid sports fan who loves to travel and work around the house.
