Dr. Rawlings was honored with a certification as a specialist in medical negligence by the American Board of Professional liability attorneys in 2011. This is an honor only 167 lawyer's hold in the United States, and the first in North Carolina. In 2013 Dr. Rawlings became a Fellow of The American College Board of Certified Attorneys. For a second year in a row, Dr. Rawlings has been selected as a Super Lawyer in North Carolina. The Rawlings Law Firm offers rare and unique expertise in medical malpractice plaintiff work and a commitment to all its clients for medical and legal excellence.
Dr.Charles E. Rawlings attended Duke University School of Medicine where he became a distinguished neurosurgeon. After practicing neurosurgery for over fifteen years, Dr. Rawlings decided to add another career path and attended Wake Forest University School of Law where he was named a Juris Doctorate in 2002.
