Our history begins in 1946, when Hyman Soloway, after serving in the Canadian army, returned to Ottawa to join his old friend, Jack Mirsky, in the practice of law. During the first few years the firm, then known as Mirsky, Soloway & Mirsky, focused on civil, criminal and litigation work.
