Over ten years ago, Stephen started his career as a litigation paralegal. While in law school, he interned for a U.S. District Judge in the District of Colorado. After he passed the bar exam, Stephen was a litigation associate at a leading commercial law firm in Denver. Now, he practices under his own name in Boulder.?

Stephen earned his Bachelor of Arts, Magna Cum Laude from The George Washington University. He earned his Juris Doctor, Order of the Coif from the University of Colorado Law School. There, Stephen won the Rothgerber Moot Court Competition and served on the University of Colorado Law Review.
