Our roots can be traced back to 1919, when Edgar Spencer entered into the practice of construction law after returning from World War I. Richard H. Tunstead and Mr. Spencer formed the firm of Spencer & Tunstead in 1958. In 1973, Mr. Tunstead and Marvin Schechter, the firm's current managing partner, formed Tunstead & Schechter.
