Bishop & Mills was formed in 2019 combining two established law firms, and leveraging the talent, experience, and intellectual rigor of their lawyers with the goal of providing comprehensive, creative, zealous, and professional advocacy in high stakes cases at both the trial and appellate levels.

Sharing a common approach to advocacy, the firm's namesakes both began their private practices in the Jacksonville offices of prominent national law firms practicing commercial litigation. They both started independent boutique law practices that flourished separately for over a decade. Their firms collaborated on a number of matters over the years before formally joining forces in 2019.

Equal members of Bishop & Mills PLLC, the individual law firms of Bishop & Co., P.A., and The Mills Firm, P.A., remain separate entities available to handle select matters separate from Bishop & Mills by special engagement. Otherwise, all matters are handled through Bishop & Mills.

Our lawyers lead in our communities and profession and give back. We are involved at the highest levels in leadership in bar and professional associations. Our lawyers can be found actively engaged in civic organizations and boards benefiting non-profit and community outreach causes. We also have a deep commitment to bono and "low bono" (reduced fee) work for those otherwise unable to afford legal representation.
