Since its establishment in April 1963 in Osaka as a pioneer partnership law firm, the Midosuji Law Firm has sought to realize this philosophy.
In our quest to provide clients with the highest quality of legal services possible, the Midosuji Law Firm has established and incorporated various key concepts in an effort to improve its capability as a partnership law firm for processing cases more efficiently and better supporting each client. These concepts include the formation of working teams so that client cases can be handled by more than two attorneys per team, the use of an intensive working system that allows effective utilization of the accumulated knowledge, experience, know-how, and legal expertise of a number of attorneys with years of practice in various areas of law, corporative alliances with professionals in related fields, the development and expansion of both international and domestic activities, and ongoing study and research on new and/or specialized fields of law.
Based on the firm belief that it is our responsibility to ensure that the Midosuji Law Firm continues to improve and provide the best possible legal service to future clients, we have put our heart into developing a highly competent staff as our most valuable corporate asset, as well as steadily , yet gradually , increasing our size, and enhancing our structural foundation. When the amended Bar Act of Japan permitted the incorporation of legal firms, we promptly incorporated our firm in January 2003 under the name of Midosuji LPC and demonstrate our commitment to further strengthening our structure as an established legal institution. Upon being incorporated, we soon opened Tokyo Office.
We are confident that these efforts have closely united all staff members of Midosuji LPC with a strong sense of solidarity in sharing our philosophy and culture, allowing us to employ our collective strength and mobility in each case. It is our earnest hope that through a deep and close commitment to our clients generally, we can build personal relationships that go beyond conventional barriers that exist between clients and their attorneys.
As a truly client-oriented law firm, Midosuji LPC is a collection of dedicated legal professionals who always focus on achieving the best possible results for our clients. In April 2010, we publicly memorialized our philosophy based on the following three types of relationships. We are actively reassuring ourselves of such philosophy, using it as the foundation for our firm's daily practice.
