AboutOur firm was originally founded in May of 1985 by Thomas Gidley, Robert Lovegreen and Michael Sarli. Since its inception, the firm has enjoyed prestigious recognition by the Martindale-Hubble® Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers, an honor which is reserved for firms who have achieved the highest peer rating for legal ability and ethical standards. In keeping with this honor, our primary mission is to continually provide the highest quality of legal services to our clients. The firm has focused its practice on litigation and its members are licensed to try cases and argue appeals in all courts of Rhode Island and Massachusetts and in Federal Courts, including the Federal Districts of Rhode Island, Massachusetts, the First Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. We also represent clients in administrative hearings, arbitrations and mediations. In order to maintain the highest standards, we have chosen to remain at a size which allows our partners to participate in the management of all cases that we accept and to see that the needs of the client are both recognized and satisfied. We strive to exceed our clients' expectations. The partners' hands-on approach insures that the firm's 30 years of legal tradition and experience, developed by actually trying both jury and non-jury cases to verdict, are applied to every client's case.
