At Cook, Netter, Cloonan, Kurtz & Murphy, P.C., we have been providing legal services throughout New York State for more than 100 years. Our firm was established by Andrew J. Cook, Sr. in 1905 in Kingston, NY. Mr. Cook later served as assemblyman in the New York State Legislature and as county judge. The firm has included four generations of Cooks, and each of our lawyers is local, born and raised in Ulster County, NY. Though we have always been a general practice law firm, our practice has expanded over the years, concentrating on insurance defense and also representing plaintiffs.
