My firm, Christopher J. Ameel, Attorney at Law is a Professional Limited Liability Company (PLLC) established in August 2008 with the purpose of providing experienced, knowledgeable, legal representation for insurance carriers, third-party administrators, certified self-insurers, employers, political subdivisions, and insurance adjusters. While I have spent the past 26 years as an attorney litigating workers' compensation disputes both at the Division of Workers' Compensation (and its predecessor agencies: Industrial Accident Board and Texas Workers' Compensation Commission) and in courthouses throughout Texas; I have also had the opportunity to represent clients in matters indirectly involved with workers' compensation and in some cases, no involvement with workers' compensation, such as claims for non-subscriber negligence and defamation. I believe clients deserve and expect knowledgeable and experienced representation. My philosophy is to provide my clients with an honest assessment of their legal disputes and if the decision is made to litigate the dispute, provide excellent experienced legal representation so that the client ultimately prevails.
