Virender Goswami achieved academic excellence when he graduated with honors from Delhi University in 1978 with a Bachelor of Economics, and attained the highest marks in his class whilst completing his LLB in the same institution. He was subsequently recognized as a member of the Bar Council of Delhi in 1981. He further honed his legal knowledge by enrolling in the University of San Diego, California, and receiving his Master of Comparative Law in 1988.Mr. Goswami is an esteemed member of the State Bar of California since 1987, the American Bar Association since 1987, and the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) since 1992. As AILA Northern California chapter's liaison with the District Counsel of United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency (ICE), he has developed a commendable working relationship with USCIS officers in San Francisco Bay area USCIS offices and USCIS Service Centers. He has helped to acquire visas for researchers, scientists, businesspeople, investors, and professionals.Moreover, Mr. Goswami has exhibited his legal prowess by ably representing clients in removal and deportation proceedings, including the Board of Immigration Appeals, Federal District Courts, and the United States Court of Appeals. He has presented lectures internationally and written numerous newspaper articles concerning immigration law; additionally, he has made appearances in various television and radio programs as an expert commentator on immigration related issues.
